My remote lessons are interactive and targeted to the needs of each particular student. I successfully identify gaps in knowledge and understanding and make my students feel confident. Every student has a different personality and way of learning. I cater for students who love problem solving and applying their Maths to every-day life as well as for students who find Mathematics somewhat alien, building up their confidence and creating a positive relationship with Maths. Learning is about believing that you can do it and I plan my sessions in a way so that my students become confident and can celebrate their successes after each session. I have been teaching Mathematics for 16 years in main-stream and alternative provision secondary schools in Worcestershire.
