I am a mature English language teacher with over 25 years teaching experience in England, France and South East Asia and the Middle East. I consider myself to have the knowledge and skills required to be an effective English teacher.
I would regard myself as an enthusiastic hard worker who is committed to helping students develop and reach their educational potential.
I have good interpersonal and listening skills which I feel can be used to develop students’ self-confidence and self-esteem together with enhancing their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
I have a positive professional attitude towards people and am conscious of the needs of students from different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds.
I am confident that I can challenge and influence students to realise their ambitions in life and inspire them to succeed in achieving their goals.
I am a CELTA qualified teacher with a PGCEi and MA TESOL degree.
I am currently based in the UK teaching Level 4 and level 5 online EAP courses for Victoria University in Australia to Chinese students in Liaoning University in Shenyang, China until June
