Previously, I have
completed my PhD studies at the Department of
Mechanical Engineering of The University of Sheffield. Currently I am working in a
government funded project. Skilled in Hands-on Technical, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Communication, and project management.
Comprehensive experience in teaching in HE and facilitating.

I also work as a tutor in The Brilliant Club where we provide pupils (KS4 and KS5) with an
experience of university-style learning through seven tutorials and two trips to high-selective
universities. As a tutor, I deliver a supra-curricular course I create based on the topic of my
current research. Also worked in the The Brilliant Tutoring programme since 2020 as a
response to the Covid-19 school closures, when the least advantaged children across the
country were facing lost learning, and a widening attainment gap. The tutorials were
delivered virtually, with an option for a hybrid model of both virtual and in-person tutoring
available in some locations. Each placement lasted for 8-week with 2 tutorials per week for
Key Stage 3 and 4 in Maths.
Furthermore I am credited as an Associate Fellow of HEA (Higher Education Academy) which
indicated my understanding, engagement and experience in specific aspects of effective and
holistic teaching, learning support methods and student learning environment. Hence, I am
confident my experience and skills would be a good fit for this position.
