About me

My Lessons are very Pupil focussed, I teach through questioning, the same way I instruct wannabe pilots. I look for what inspires, motivates, interests and my goal is firstly to remove any stigma attached to making mistakes; we learn through mistakes and being fearless to make them, especially with language learning. My Lessons are very Pupil focussed, I teach through questioning, the same way I instruct wannabe pilots. I look for what inspires, motivates, interests and my goal is firstly to remove any stigma attached to making mistakes; we learn through mistakes and being fearless to make them, especially with language learning. Over 30 years I have collected techniques, tools, and materials which get results.

I can offer you my multidisciplinary and well traveled background. I am an IT Consultant, English Teacher, Musician, Flying Instructor, and am computer literate, numerate, have good written and oral communication skills, embrace teamwork and speak German and French. 

Three decades of work and travel over Europe, USA, INDIA, AFRICA have made me approachable, welcoming, friendly and enthusiastic and given me leadership experience.

I have Sailed, Rowed, Powerboated since I was 6 and have circumnavigated on a 10m 1954 East German steel yacht while teaching kids online.

I enjoy diving and repairing old Yachts, Boats, Engines and Electronics. 

I Teach English TEFL, Maths from early years til BSc(Hons), Physics (GCSE, A'Level) and professionally have been a Flying Instructor in USA.
