Each lesson will have a theme on a particular art style, with a brief history of it's origin and how it has been used and evolved throughout the years. We will look into some artist examples and each come up with a short take away review on why we either like or dislike the piece. From this we can start to understand how the artwork gains an influence and how it spreads throughout the world.
We will then carry out an exercise, where you will draw up a concept utilising the same artistic method, being able to make your own interpretation when using the style.
Once the exercise is over, we will do a showcase and discuss the reason behind why we created the piece in such a way and what it represents to you. We will then touch over artists who evolved that particular art style and made it something unique, hoping to inspire a similar shift of adaption in my students.
