After working for Citibank as an AVP, I moved to Europe and began working in the third-sector, founded a social good business and am now Chief Executive of a charity. This cross-sector and real world experience, combined with my BSc in Marketing and an MBA, will enable me to move your learning outside of the 'textbook' and into the practical and contextual.

I can assist with developing strategic plans, assessing financial forecasts, critiquing and advising on research or dissertations, analysing business plans or simply as a coach as you explore business concepts in your business or courses. Starting with an assessment of your needs, our initial 30 minute session is always free, as we understand what you actually need assistance with, if I can I be of benefit to you and if there is a good fit for me to be your tutor. I do not come with a packaged lesson plan that you are forced into. Once I understand your area of need, I do my homework before our next session and then return to tutor you based on a concept-driven learning approach. With this approach, I provide information and examples for you to acquire knowledge but then help you learn how to apply that knowledge to your real-life situations. Concept-driven learning helps you move beyond learning a skill and enables you to put that skill to use in a way that matters. I am not a 'Highers' (Scottish) or GCSE (English) tutor but a coach and mentor who can enable your to put your learning into use whether drafting a business plan or supporting you through a dissertation.
