I can provide different types of lesson according to what the student requires. I can provide something resembling a lecture on criminal law or evidence in which I do not necessarily assume any prior knowledge , or I can provide something resembling a tutorial in which I would expect the student to have done a significant amount of preparation and in which he or she would attempt to solve a legal problem or comment critically on a legal topic, aided by occasional interventions from me.

For either type of lesson, I can provide documentation in advance in the form of printed notes or powerpoint-type slides.

I can also go through a student's written work to explain where they went wrong and why they have been marked down. What of course I cannot do is edit, revise or correct assessed work which they are about to submit as their own.

I have been teaching criminal law and evidence for many years and am very expert at it.
