I like to have a fun lesson. I try to involve the interests of my students in our learning experiences. There is never a wrong or silly answer in my classroom, but there may be answers we need to look at again and see if there is an alternative. I take my time with students and allow them to come to answers and conclusions in their own time and encouraging them when the need is there.

I have been a teacher for over 7 years and a Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator for a year. I have great experience in working with all age groups and abilities across the Primary years. I use the experience of teaching different year groups and abilities to ensure that each lesson suits the abilities of my pupils and can adapt those lessons as needed.
I have a love of English and try to bring that enjoyment to my pupils, which includes reading. To enjoy and understand a book sets children up for a lifetime of enjoyment, but also supports their learning in all areas of English and personal development. They have an opportunity to develop their imagination - essential for story writing, see the language an author uses and also see the element of grammar that they are learning being used in real life.
In all I hope my pupils enjoy our sessions and make progress without at times realising that they are learning. These are always the best lessons when unexpected learning takes place.
