My goal as a law tutor is to contribute to cutting-edge research, teaching and inspiring student audiences to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking to establish their voice in academia. In particular, researching and teaching courses at the University of Energy and Natural Resources since 2017 - from first-year Gender, Development and Law, through postgraduate courses including Land and Natural Resource Law and Environmental Law and Governance; to supervising MPhil theses - has made me aware of the needs and interests of a culturally and ethnically diverse student body. Similarly, collaborative learning is also central to my teaching philosophy in order to promote reflective thinking and improve the students’ communicative and multi-cultural engagement skills. I am thus excited at the opportunity to teach environmental and human rights law.
