I would like to teach in a fun and innovative way, involving the person through Question and response. For myself, I learn most effectively through visual presentation, perhaps through pictures and annotations or highlighting key accents, sounds, or factors, I believe younger children also learn best in this way or through active activities, linking words to movements. During my work experience at the Primary school (St Nicholas and St Mary) I involved power points, allowing children to raise their hands, asking questions and gaining deeper insight.
Similarly, for GCSE and A-level help, The most effective way is to practice mock papers, in time conditions and with a set essay template that is taught prior to completing an exam; once you master the perfect essay layout, writing under harsh time conditions and structuring and voicing your ideas becomes easier. Flash cards additionally are a game changer, with techniques and words, with definitions on the back, in which I used to prompt to practice with people three times a day, to cement the key words, quotes or language devices into the person's mind.
Overall, repetition is key, doing a little bit everyday to solidify the words and key points into your mind, as after all, practice makes perfect.
