I am a strong believer in practice makes perfect. The way that I teach students is fundamentally built upon confidence building, encouraging them to practice essays/problem questions and then coming together to discuss improvements. I find that this is the most effective way of allowing students to develop the skills to score highly in law, without overloading them with information which is seemingly meaningless.

My approach allows students to practice self-reflection, as well as learn what works best for them. This confidence building is essential for becoming familiar with not only your writing style but the requirements that markers are looking for, as well as honing in on the common underlying themes of your degree.

I am more than happy to tailor my approach to meet individual students needs where necessary, however, these underlying principles form the basis of my lessons.

My particular interests lie within medical law and criminal law. However, I have studied all core modules of an Undergraduate Law LLB degree as well as Professional Negligence, Family law, Contemporary issues in Healthcare law, the Criminal Process, the Law of Evidence, the Legal Regulation of Sexual Relationships and Clinical Legal Education.
