My name is Mervat Magdy, I'm a native Arabic speaker from Egypt. I have 5 years experience in teaching Arabic as a second language. I worked as private tutor in UAE with students of different backgrounds. At the moment, I teach Arabic and Islamic studies online to non natives. I have passion in teaching, specially teaching Arabic language and Islamic Studies to non Arabic speakers as this is an excellent opportunity to exchange culture knowledge. When it comes to teaching, I prefer to blend more than one teaching style to traitor the learning plan according to the needs and targets of my students. In the first class we will discuss why you want to learn Arabic language or Islamic Studies? What do you expect from learning this topic? .. etc, then we will work together on achieving your best and most enjoyable learning experience through lot of fun activities, role playing, educational games, discussions, listening and speaking practice and Q&A as questions are very welcomed in my class as well as sense of humor :) . All along your learning journey with me, we will work on mastering all language skills : Listening, Speaking, Reading , Writing and Grammar. While in Islamic Studies, we will work on providing you with all the knowledge, history and culture differences of the Arab world generally and Muslim specifically.
