I achieved high marks in all science subjects including geography and am currently studying Biological & Biomedical Science at TCD, Ireland. My lessons encorporate a blend of demonstrations via recorded experiments, online interactive simulations, as well as increasing your self sufficiency by encouraging you to engage with the material in a fun and interesting way. My lessons are very student-focused. If you are having trouble concentrating in school due to the lecture-style approach taken in most classrooms, then we can work together to find a teaching style that suits you. On the other hand, if you learn very well by listening to lectures and taking notes, then I am more than prepared to give lecture-styled lessons using powerpoint presentations, easily summarised bullet points, and lessons that are structured and organised the way that suits your learning style. If, at any time during the lesson, you find yourself zoning out and needing a break or feeling as if you are uninterested, let me know! Breaks are important, your brain can only focus for so long, and if you find our lessons aren't helping you in the way that you'd like, we can figure out a way to make it work. The most important thing to keep in mind when trying to learn something, is that your brain learns much better when it is having fun and you are truly interested in what is being taught. There is no wrong way to learn, and there is no such thing as a bad student, only an incompatible teaching and learning style, which is why I like my lessons to be very feedback oriented, so that I can help you be the best student you can be.
