I have been a lecturer teaching university programmes in the UK presently and previously in India. I am keen on teaching accounting and business courses online. I have nearly 20 years of experience in teaching business modules. I am an expert in the field of Marketing, Finance, and HR. My teaching will make you love the module and study with more synergy. My teaching style will be dynamic which are interactive and include tasks that involve a high level of learner engagement, and the use of multiple learning mediums. As a passionate teacher, I am committed to teaching undergraduate, postgraduate, and research students. I have robust teaching and administrative experience of nearly 19 years in various educational institutions performing different roles as Principal, Dean, Programme coordinator, Research Supervisor, Lecturer, and Assistant Manager. I am proficient in developing new modules and activities to expand learning and research opportunities. I have extensively organised and participated in various committees and extracurricular activities. I possess excellent knowledge of various business modules and great practical knowledge in delivery through in-class presentations as well as online modes. During my career, I was awarded the Best Faculty Award for fetching 100% results for the post-graduate course that I was teaching. To my credit, I have published 34 research papers in refereed national and international journals. I have also presented more than 40 research papers at national and international conferences organised by various institutions during my career. As a part of scholarly activity, four of my research scholars were awarded PhD under my supervision. My objective as a teacher is to motivate the students to develop their learning interests and critical thinking—to establish a learner-centred environment in the classroom. Teaching a wide range of courses in various educational institutions has made me aware of the needs and interests of a culturally and ethnically diverse student body. As a result, I prepare lesson plans considering the interconnection between the student’s knowledge, culture, and learning abilities, the subject matter discussed in class, and current debates on social issues. Collaborative learning is also central to my teaching philosophy to promote reflective thinking and improve the students’ communicative and trans-cultural skills.
