Mia Suljic

I’m a qualified English teacher with experience marking for the AQA exam board. I have an in-depth knowledge of both the literature and language specification, and how to help pupils unlock their potential. I currently teach year 7-11 and follow the national curriculum to ensure my pupils progress as they go through each year group. I teach the AQA exam texts but do also have experience teaching a range of other exam texts, including Edexcel and iGCSE.

I have tutored KS2-4 pupils previously and have worked with them to develop their skills, from reading comprehension to creative writing, as well as developing their confidence with each session. I work closely with my pupils and take their personal learning needs into account to create a bespoke lesson. I have an open dialogue with pupils and parents to really get to the heart of pupils' needs. A typical session with me will include some form of quizzing, the introduction of new content, and the opportunity to do some extended writing which will be marked and feedback provided.

I am an AQA Approved examiner. All of my students have gone on to get a Grade 6+ in their exams after working with me.
