I believe learning becomes more productive when we go out of the confines of conventional teaching styles by incorporating fun activities in the learning environment. I therefore start my lessons with fun activities like songs, poems, or tongue twisters, that are in relation with the learning objective of the day. The activity serves as the introduction to the lesson. I divide my lessons into 3 parts; after the introduction, we have the development, which includes coverage of the content for the lesson. The third and final part is the conclusion of the lesson, where we do a Recap of the lesson, after which I leave the learner with a task to facilitate remembrance and practice of the content learnt. The content varies based on the lever of the learner. I offer content from the beginner level all the way to the intermediate level.
With regards to experience, I have experience in teaching the French language in both private tutoring sessions and in classroom settings. I have handled learners of different ages, ranging from the age of 5, to learners in their 20s. This makes me proficient in Early Childhood Development. I have experience in assessing learners' progress through examinations, in which I take part in the setting myself, both partially and entirely. I have taught French as a foreign language at two different primary schools.
The experience I have gained from my teaching journey has fastened me up to develop different teaching approaches that are specifically tailored for learners at different levels.
