Mercedes Montero

I am a bilingual Spanish/English teacher, originally from Madrid with a Spanish family background. I have a Business Spanish Diploma from the Spanish Chamber of Commerce (grade: distinction). I tailor lessons to suit individual students, making them varied and interesting, thereby engaging learners and making it more enjoyable. I use a variety of media for my lessons, making sure it is relevant to each student's learning path, including music, games, articles, cultural and current affairs, vocabulary exercises, grammar, and a splash of humour thrown in for good measure!

I have experience of teaching on a one-to-one basis, including at primary school level, secondary and adults. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy seeing my students flourish, gain confidence and enjoy their lessons.
