About me
Hi my name is Merak. I'm from Chengdu in China. I'm currently learning educational psychology at Durham University. In my free time I enjoy running, playing video games, watching animes, learning languages, playing badmintons, reading papers that related to my major.

Me as a teacher
I hope to help as many students as possible achieve their language goals in Chinese Mandarin. I believe that no matter your age or ability you can reach a high level in any language. I have experience of both formally and informally tutoring Mandarin learners when I was in China and here in the UK. In addition, I can put my educational theories into use to support my students' learning (like how to boost students' motivation and engagement)

Lessons will be based on your own learning requirements and what you enjoy. If you like, we can study by reading newspaper articles, journals, books, TV etc. If it is for test-oriented academic purpose, please send me your materials beforehand.
