am a qualified, competent, and enthusiastic mathematics teacher with over 18 years of experience, currently searching for a mathematics teacher's position to best utilize my skills and take the next step in my career. Over the years, I have passionately taught General Mathematics and Further/Additional Mathematics in English National Curriculum schools from Year 7 to Year 13. I have prepared students for various certificate examinations and competitions including WAEC, NECO, Cambridge CheckPoint/IGCSE, UTME/SAT and Cambridge A’ Level Mathematics in the Sixth Form College. I can demystify mathematics and make it the favourite subject among students.

Among others, my achievements include: Best mathematics teacher of the year award;; excellent students’ performance in Cambridge IGCSE (2017/ / /2022), Cambridge Checkpoint Exam (2019/ /2022),WAEC Exam (2015/ / / /2022) and SAT (2017/ /2020); Author of Mathematics Success Formula for Junior School Students (Years 7-9 ) and Mathematics Success Formula for Senior School Students (Years 10-12); Head of Department, Mathematics & ICT.. As the Head of Department of Mathematics and ICT and with the support of my principal, I proposed and established a Maths lab and 2 ICT suites to enhance effective lesson delivery by the teachers in the department. While serving in similar capacity at Greenoak International School, Port Harcourt in 2013, I single-handedly prepared Mathematics curriculum/ schemes of work for Grades & 12 and Further Mathematics for Grades 11 and 12 when the school was preparing for WAEC accreditation.
I am also versatile in preparing students for both national and international competitions. These include Cowbellpedia, Mathematics Olympiad, American Mathematics Competitions (AMC-08, 10 and 12), KSF and so forth. My students have won gold, silver and bronze medals at different times. These achievements, coupled with excellent results in WASSCE and IGCSE, have resulted in increased students’ enrolment for the school. I also organize booster classes for weak students (i.e low ability and middle ability students) to achieve academic excellence. Besides, I am highly involved in co-curricular activities and sports. As the head of Maths/ICT club and the house master of Green House, I introduced math games like Matheletics, Identification matico, mathematical palace game, solving of Rubik's cubes, designing of websites etc. I also believe students should be given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience outside the classroom through field trips/excursions. Hence, in and 2019, I took students on an excursion to the National Mathematical Centre (NMC), Abuja tagged “NMC Trip and Abuja Study Tour ''. Indeed, the excursions provided our students the opportunity to enrich learning experiences. I am also involved in students’ discipline using the Demerit Code System, Homeroom parenting, Year Level Head of various year groups.
Beside a B.Sc (Ed) degree in Mathematics, I possess the following certifications: Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580, Cambridge Examiner, Teachers’ Registration Council Of Nigeria (TRCN), Google Educator Level 1, John Maxwell Leadership Training and Amazon master ebooks Publishing.
