Melissa Retezan

I began learning English in Romania and continued to enhance my skills after moving to the UK, ultimately earning my Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, which was conducted entirely in English. My lessons are designed to be interactive and supportive, focusing on helping students feel comfortable as they practice their English. While I may not have extensive formal teaching experience, I have participated in cultural exchange programs where I engaged with groups of young people, which helped me develop my communication skills. Additionally, I have experience tutoring math to GCSE students, giving me insight into how to explain concepts clearly and patiently.

In my lessons, I aim to create a relaxed environment where we can focus on conversational practice, grammar, and vocabulary in a way that feels relevant to your everyday life. I believe that learning should be enjoyable and tailored to your individual needs. My goal is to help you build confidence in your English skills while making the process engaging and approachable.
