I will create diverse and interactive lessons, I will provide notes and comprehensive PowerPoints that you can take away with you at the end of each lesson! I am an open and easy going person, there are no silly questions! Intend to teach in a conversational manner, I like to challenge general understanding and go deeper than the surface to get some real critical thinking skills involved in my lessons. I have experience in a teaching setting which will come in handy with online teaching, I’m proficient in teams and zoom online learning as my post graduate degree took place when partial covid restrictions were still in place. I have a multitude of teaching materials that I have already created which can be put into use and adapted to fit all learner styles and understanding. During my time teaching at a secondary school in Scotland, I learned valuable skills in meeting learner needs, i chunk my information into sizeable “bites” so that you will not be overwhelmed with information all at once. I have taught modern studies at all ages between 11-18 and have found that there is always more to learn and understand from one another. I have taught certificate classes at National 5 and Higher level requiring exam preparation and implementation and marking. I have taken part in all aspects of this and will apply this to my teaching of English to all who may choose me.
