Melinda E Kiss

I am teaching since 2008 privately, also I used to work for a company called Strings Club where I did group tuition in holiday music camps. I use the Kodaly Method for ear training which involves some singing and clapping games for rhythmical development. I have lots of scores and music available for all grades. I have experience in pop, rock and electric music as well. I have been to BGT with the Collaborative Orchestra and we made it to the semi finals which was a great experience. I was part of several orchestras and I did recordings with singers too. Currently hoping for upcoming gigs to come with my string quartet.
I teach violin and viola also ukulele for younger children. I am available at my house or I can do home visits if it’s within a reasonable distance. For more advanced students I could do online lessons too.
What is important for me is that the student understands what things are and if not then I am happy to explain all over again and make sure that it will be clear. I have a great patience and I like to have fun too. It is good to learn with fun but it is also worth to put the effort in practice and take things seriously to achieve our goals because practice makes perfect! Same with anything especially like sports, the more regular you do it the better you get! At the meantime enjoy it too and breathe with the music!
