My experience of working one on one with lots of students from Primary to GCSE, is that maths can be a challenge for everyone. One in two parents say that they don't understand the homework set for their children, and when this is the case it leaves the classroom as the only place for you to pick up those all important techniques.

My way of tutoring is to do a brief overview of each topic, be that GCSE or Primary, and break down each area to its basics.

When I have identified the areas in which you are finding the most difficult, I will teach this again from scratch.

My methods are to show you how I would answer a question with visual prompts for you to obtain a better understanding. When we have practiced a few of these I let you try on your own with my help should you need it!

We will work through past papers and exam questions building up your knowledge and confidence every session. Until you have the skills needed to get those you want!
