For classroom teaching, I have created tailored curricula for online platforms, focusing on conversational fluency, grammar mastery, and cultural integration. My exposure to various learning environments has equipped me to adapt my teaching methods to the specific needs of my students.

For teaching methods, I prioritize real-life communication skills, encouraging students to speak and listen actively. Role-playing, conversational practice, and interactive activities are central to my lessons. Mastering Chinese tones is crucial, so I employ auditory exercises, repetition, and visual aids to help students internalize them. My lessons integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I begin with Pinyin to build pronunciation, then introduce characters to develop literacy. Language learning is intertwined with cultural understanding. I incorporate stories, idioms, festivals, and even Chinese calligraphy to provide a richer learning experience. And also, I use tasks like ordering food, planning trips, or describing daily routines to make lessons practical and engaging. Moreover, I leverage apps, online resources, and multimedia to provide a modern and flexible learning experience. Tools like interactive flashcards, digital quizzes, and video resources make language practice accessible and enjoyable. And there will be a power point in every single lesson to start with what I am going to teach them and also to summarize key points in the lesson. At the end of my lessons, I hope I can assess each student’s goals—whether for travel, business, or academic purposes—and tailor lessons accordingly. In addition, I strive to foster a supportive learning environment, encouraging students to build confidence and embrace the language.
