I have a bachelor degree in biology and Master's degree in Biotechnology. I have taught biology to high school students for 4 years in Eritrea, where I am originally from, and now I am working as Quality control technologist at a pharmaceutical company. I missed teaching as I have been out teaching for the last 3 years, and as someone who loves teaching kids added with the passion for biology I decided to do some tutoring as part time. My style is to relate everything with real life. I help my students with the best of my abilities till they get the concept ingrained in their brain profoundly. If possible, my way of teaching is connecting real life and biology. For-example, cells in our body divide and we grow, but sometimes they grow unrestrained for some reasons and hence we get sick with cancer. This can be a good analogy in real life if a car ?? lost its break. Once the car control is lost nothing goes good. Through this way, my lessons are mostly fun and conceptual. Biology as a subject can be an intimidating from outside but once connected it to real life everything starts to make sense.
