I am CELTA-qualified. My lessons are fun, engaging and dynamic; most importantly they cater to your needs and your targets.

I have a broad range of experience; from YL classes to C1/C2 conversation classes I have taught all levels. Additionally, I have experience teaching PET, FCE and CAE exam groups, with many of my students successfully passing the exam.

In terms of lesson format, I like to choose a language skill depending on what you prefer to focus on (for example, reading, listening or speaking) and go from there. I prefer to use a variety of activities to practise all of these skills, including discussion questions, interview-style conversations, comprehension reading and listening activities etc.

The content of the lesson will also depend a lot on you: what are you interested in? Do you have a preferred topic that you need to focus on for work or school?
From there, I will provide some content on these topics and use them to highlight learning opportunities for you to expand your vocabulary, perfect your grammar or simply become more confident and comfortable with your speaking.

I am also happy to provide lessons that supplement your school/university work; you can let me know what you feel that you need more support in, and I will be able to create a personalised lesson plan that will help you better understand the grammar.

As I am a native speaker, I can also offer an insight into British culture/slang and help to expose you to a native accent as well.
