I am a Qualified Primary Teacher, with a specialism in English. As a former librarian I know a lot about books.
With previous tutoring experience, I like to get to know the child before begining our lessons. English is so broad, and each child has something they would be interested in growing in. Relationships have always been central to my practice and so getting to know your child's interests and challenges is key to me before beginning.
Although I specialise in English I tutor all subjects in the primary curriculum. Using resources and tools that I have seen in high quality practice in schools. As a supply teacher, I have seen what works and what doesn't, so I adapt these resource to make them to be suitable for tutoring.
