Hello there, my name is Megan and I would love to help you with your music education. I have undergraduate and Master's degrees, both in music, and have played the violin for 15 years.

I conduct hour or half-hour lessons depending on the student's age and the difficulty level of the content. This will be discussed in the !FREE! introductory session where we will lay out exactly what the student wants to achieve. Lessons can be conducted remotely for my regular price (£25/hr) or I can travel to you within Edinburgh for just the added cost of a bus fare! Introductory sessions are remote unless otherwise requested.

Whether it's just fun learning a few pieces or you're preparing for your exams, we'll come up with a style that works for you! I am happy to just provide repertoire and the odd hint, or to help you develop new techniques and styles.

If it's GCSE or A Level tutoring you're after, I can help with past papers, create new listening questions, and even take a look at compositional techniques. Or we can go through your previous work and look at how to improve it. Just let me know which Exam Board you're with and we can set up a personalised structure for our sessions.

I can also give a tips for Classically trained musicians on how to use software such GarageBand and Musescore to record yourself and your ideas.

So please if this sounds like what you need, take the first steps and contact me to organise and initial session. I look forward to hearing from you!
