I teach piano, singing, and music theory- I believe these are important as it promotes self-expression, coordination, and an outlet for those who need it. This applies to anyone and everyone. If you ever need to stop and have a chat I am also here for that; no progress can be made if you are not doing great. I will always be there for a cuppa and a chat if you need it.
Having a 100% success rate thus far makes teaching for me enjoyable, and reassuring for my students.
I teach in a way that is engaging and fun. I believe in learning by doing; having my students be comfortable with making mistakes and doing their best. No question is a silly one! I ensure that we work, but also make sure the lessons are fun and relaxed. We start our lessons, go through our material, have a game, and have a chat! For those who need it, I also have little breaks in-between to let off some steam or decompress. I have seen this be needed for those who may have a learning disability or sensory issue.
So, do you want to be educated in music? Come on in and join me for a good lesson and a cuppa! I'm excited to get started!
