I have just graduated from my history degree at Durham University with first class honours. I have a real passion for history, and would love to help you understand your course and practice the analytical skills key to mastering the subject. I could help you analyse sources, hone your essays (for example using the PEEL structure) and boost your grades. I have studied a wide range of time periods throughout my degree, A Level and GCSE, however I would ensure to read up on your particular course to ensure we are hitting the correct marking criteria and assessment objectives.
I also took English Literature for A Level (A*) and received 9s in English literature and language at GCSE so I could really help boost your grades in English. I can help you use and identify important literary devices in poems, plays and novels. I love classical literature and Shakespeare, I am incredibly well read and would study hard before our tutoring sessions to ensure I am familiar with the texts you are studying.
A key passion of mine is Classics (classical civilisation). I received an A* in my A Level and I could help you get the most out of your course - be it Homer, Virgil, Euripides, Sophocles or analysing vases and ancient ruins.
