With over 13 years of experience as a teacher and leader in wellbeing and English, combined with my ongoing training as an educational psychologist, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive learning environment where all students can flourish.
Having taught all primary age groups and beyond, I bring a wealth of experience in adapting lessons to suit a variety of abilities, learning styles, and needs. As the leader of a special needs base, I developed bespoke lesson plans that successfully supported children with diverse challenges, fostering progress through innovative and compassionate teaching strategies.
Drawing on psychological theories, I created a resilience programme to support children through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and it remains in use today. I also developed an interactive toolkit for parents and families, which a clinical psychologist acknowledged as aligning with hr professional advice.
My lessons are carefully structured, combining interactive activities, creative approaches, and clear objectives. Whether working with younger learners or older students in English, I aim to build confidence, spark curiosity, and help each child realise their potential.
Colleagues and leaders have frequently noted my ability to connect with students and create a positive rapport. As one headteacher observed, I have an exceptional talent for forming meaningful relationships with all learners, helping them feel valued and understood.
