I have tutored many students in subjects ranging from GCSE Design Technology, History and English. My younger brothers have been tutored by me and are currently undertaking their GCSE’s with full confidence. My students enjoy the freedom of expression in my lessons and being able to critically engage in the material to find answers to the questions they may have.

Being open-minded and engaged in society is something schools do not teach. The development of this skills allows children to learn and experience life with a wider lens to explore and draw their own conclusions about the world we live in.

The typical format I will follow for lesson plans:

- Introduction to basic concepts - encouraging the student to set out what concept they believe to be important and why. Mind maps or blurting are effective study tools for this.

- Structure and writing skills - this will focus on how a student should answer a specific question while being able to express their own opinion in an academic way.

- Discussion of wider issues - I strongly encourage students to develop their own ideas and provide them with the necessary skills to be able to undertake research in that field.
