Hello!

My name is Megan and I am a 24-year old from London. I am currently studying my MSc in psychology at the University of Liverpool.

I was trained as a tutor in 2016 by Explore Learning and have been privately tutoring since 2017. I have experience tutoring children between the ages of 4 up to 16 years old in English, Maths and Science. I have a passion for maths in particular and having been working with the curriculum for 7+ years now, I find I am extremely confident and familiar with the Primary and Secondary school exam content and systems.

I always ensure I open and close a lesson properly. I check their understanding of a certain topic at the start of the class and conducting a knowledge check and summarise on today's content at the end of class. This ensures complete clarity for the student as well as for me with knowing my student's strengths and areas of improvement.

I believe that a fun, welcoming and varied class are the ingredients for success. I try to ensure my students are always comfortable participating and sharing their ideas because that is key for learning!
