I am an enthusiastic Maths tutor in Nottingham with years of experience in teaching, both face-to-face and online. I am very familiar with the Maths curriculum for all exam boards and believe that every student has the potential to excel in Maths. I am here to unlock that potential of students and empower them with the ability of problem solving. I believe in creating an encouraging environment where students feel supported to learn. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs which significantly enhances their potential to learn. With a strong foundation in subject knowledge and teaching methods, I am confident I can help students overcome the gaps in learning and achieve their academic goals. My area of expertise is teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 levels.
With a degree in Accounting and a Master's in Business Administration, I am equipped with analytical and problem-solving skills crucial for teaching Maths. I have been a professional with a robust background in Sales and Marketing and later transitioned to a career in education. With over four years of valuable experience in a school environment and a proven track record of successful volunteer work as an educator, I bring a genuine enthusiasm for teaching. My belief that education plays a vital role in shaping of young minds excites me to provide support to students during the learning process and help them achieve their own expectations. Possessing strong communication skills, I am adept at creating engaging and inclusive learning environments. More than just a tutor, I would like to be a partner in a student’s educational journey, ensuring their well-being and academic success go hand-in-hand.
