My lessons are very interactive online. We usually start with a little game and then we move on to a starter activity. I use Zoom as its a very good platform as it allows the tutor and the student to share screens and also write on them which is very useful for when you are answering questions. We begin to go through many slides which have pictorial representations, I try to incorporate a few concrete resources if they are there. I always often play a learning game at the end and use lot of praise and encouragement through the lessons. Overall my lessons online have been very engaging. My face to face tutoring is also very enjoyable where we play a small game to start with, there's lots of discussions and I use different resources to help the student, so we use a whiteboard, role play, mini learning, games, videos and often end with a learning game. My lessons both online and face to face are really engaging and useful. I aim to find out the areas the student needs most support in and ensure my lessons are planned in a way to cater for their needs. I like to challenge them with questions so they can develop their skills. I try to take mini 5 brain breaks to get their brains stimulated as I believe this helps them to focus more. For me a students education is my priority and I am passionate in giving them the best learning I can to have a great future.
