Meadhbh Kelly

My name is Meadhbh, (pronounced Maeve) and I am a native English speaker with a deep passion for language learning. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English and History from University College Dublin, which is Ireland’s largest university, and I am a fully TEFL-qualified English teacher.

I bring a wealth of experience to my teaching, having recently served as Senior English Teacher at a prestigious private language school in Bangkok, Thailand. I have taught students of all ages, including young children, teens and adults, ranging from beginner to advanced levels and have specialized in various areas, including general English, business English, and academic English. My expertise extends to preparing students for major exams such as IELTS, TOEIC, and TOEFL.

In addition to teaching, I was promoted to Teacher Mentor during my first year, where I supported my peers in their professional growth and training. I also regularly assessed prospective students, helping them determine their CEFR levels and advising them on the best class structure and study plan to meet their needs.

Before teaching, I gained valuable experience working in a global retail buying office, further enhancing my understanding of business English.

Every lesson I deliver is fully personalized to suit the unique learning style and goals of each student, whether personal, academic, or career-related. My teaching style is relaxed and approachable, ensuring that students feel comfortable and confident while learning. I tailor each lesson to be engaging and relevant, so students can get the most out of their learning experience.
