Hi! I use a tailored approach to any kind of learning, planning my sessions according to what you need out of them. In my free taster lesson we can discuss what you're hoping to achieve in our time together, but as a starting point, here are a few ideas:

- A-levels/GCSEs:

- Revision planning sessions where we discuss what you need to do and timetable it
- Content lessons where we discuss tricky concepts and make sure you're on top of the ideas
- Homework/ mock paper practice, where we go through example questions together
- Extras: going above and beyond the concepts in the textbooks to give you a more holistic and in-depth understanding of the subject you choose. We can read up on academic or scientific texts to expand your interest and understanding of the topic beyond mark-scheme perimeters. Despite not being directly linked to the mark scheme, this will help you fully grasp the more basic concepts, as well as practice more advanced skills of absorbing and processing information.



- Language learning:

- Speaking/ listening practice: We chat freely about whatever subject you want. I'll flag up important vocab or grammatical issues
- Reading practice: I suggest a text for you to read depending on your level and interest and we discuss it, covering key vocab and content
- Writing practice: You write me a text on a subject of your choice and I correct it, flagging up key grammatical points, correcting spelling mistakes and suggesting alternative or more sophisticated vocabulary
- Grammar: A session dedicated to covering a particular tense or concept of the language
