As I am a yearly traveler to London, UK, the city is no stranger to me. My first culinary joys were experiencing the local culture, the famous fish, chips and mushy peas, and my sweet tooth favs, Sticky Toffee Pudding and Christmas Pudding.
From family, friends and attending the prestigious culinary school Le Cordon Bleu in Bloomsbury, I am excited just as you, to meet whether it be virtual or in-person, and as we Trini people say, "to Buss-ah-lime" (enjoy each other's company) for a long time.
Though my classes are aimed at Adults, responsible teenagers accompanied by Adult supervision are welcome to join.
My lessons are interactive with zoomed in demonstrations, basic knife skills, short introduction videos of the islands and various PowerPoint slides. You will also be required to zoom in on some of your skills virtually as well therefore, related camera/Webcam equipment is necessary. Common utensils list and ingredients will be posted prior to classes so that you are prepared. You will do your note taking for your understanding.
In addition, according to the time of year, Caribbean food shopping field trips , locally or internationally can be group organized to grasp better knowledge for future exploring of West Indian cuisine. So, join me and let's explore a tasty culinary experience together.
