My methods will be to first understand what topics the student needs help with and then I will create a lesson plan for me to go through with the student.

We will first go through the fundamental parts of the topic then gradually as they become more confident we will go into more advanced topics. I think the most important thing from the sessions will be that at the end of each session the homework for the student will be to create online flash cards for what we have gone through. This will help save time when exam season comes round and will allow them to master the topic. I will explain more in the sessions in what form they should be and what apps I'd recommend. I will also be able to give advice on exam technique and how to write essays.

For the format I will use a mixture of presentations, worksheets but predominantly it will be the whiteboard. All notes will be sent to the student after the session that way parents will be able to see what we have covered in the session.

I have had experience tutoring friends since the last year of a-levels and all the way to my 2nd year in university so I do have experience. However I have also been tutored in the past with economics as I was also once in the position of a confused struggling student. I managed to turn this round and receiving high grades in my A-levels and I have most recently just received one of the highest exam scores in my course for my microeconomics module at university.
