My name is Matt, I’m 35 years old and have been teaching English since 2018 both online and in person. I have a TEFL certificate and I’ve had a lot of experience in teaching students and staff in various other subjects such as a drum teacher, teaching staff processes and training courses as an engineer and even instructing friends how to snowboard!

I am currently a part time private English tutor in Andorra where I teach children and adults English as a foreign language and use my Spanish speaking skills to help students improve their fluency as well as attaining cambridge exams.

On one online platform I generated over 1750 five star reviews from students over the course of two years and I thoroughly enjoy meeting students from all ages, races, backgrounds and abilities. I have taught English to complete beginners as young as 3 years old up to high profile clients such as Directors of Toyota in Japan.

Whatever the class, lesson style or teaching format, I always make my classes fun, enjoyable and tailored to each student's needs after understanding them, their learning styles and preferred format of learning. I can use pre-supplied materials and I have a huge catalogue of my own materials and resources which I regularly utilise.

I am also a freelance event manager for music events and artists so, I often have a lot of free time as my freelance remote work is often part time and seasonal.

Above all, I am a very friendly, outgoing and approachable person who shows empathy and patience with all students as well as a great ability to relate to all levels of clients, customers and students.

I have many hobbies and work experience which makes for great conversation topics. I love the mountains, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, travelling, sailing, cooking, art, photography, nature and wildlife.
