I think that education should focus on the students needs. All students have a unique style of learning, so I will try my best to create a student centred classroom whilst building a relationship of trust and friendship with the students. So that they not only be motivated to try their best, but also feel safe enough to make mistakes and ask questions.
I firmly believe that as the authority and the expert, the teacher burdens a profound responsibility to guide (not dictate to) students through their academic challenges at their own pace and in a manner which suits them. This means it is up to the teacher to find a way of adapting lesson structure and lesson delivery to the students individual characteristics while always encouraging academic excellence. I also think that it is important for me to keep in mind the need to keep lesson structures and instructions simple to understand. As to not overwhelm the student but at the same time creating an effective plan that with help the student learn the target vocab, grammar, etc.
I believe in not only creating lessons effective at enhancing a student's learning, but also to make lessons fun, engaging and interesting.
