I ask each student what is the best way for them to learn before i start tutoring; once i have established the best way for learning to occur, i tailor each lesson to account for their level and preferred style of learning, my aim is to teach individuals, not make a set lesson that they have to follow. With my style of tutoring, i aim to help students feel heard and understood regardless of their level or difficulties, whilst also teaching them what they need. I also hope to create an environment that is a positive space, where no judgment takes place, which doesn't force the student to feel like they are in a closed off lesson, rather i hope to create a sense of calm and reassurance, which encourages learning at a higher and better level.
