History & English tutor with a strong research background and extensive writing and editing skills. My qualifications include a MSc in History with Merit from the University of Edinburgh and a BA in History with First-Class Honours from the University of Sussex. I also secured first class marks for both my master's and undergraduate dissertations. During my time learning my craft as a historian, I studied a diverse array of time periods and historical regions. My master's dissertation explored the topic of male monastic mores and religious history in medieval Japan while my underground dissertation was focused on British social history through a multidisciplinary approach. As a tutor this has allowed me to instruct across multiple areas of specialisation, at a broad and detailed level of study. The tools I have learned have successfully helped my students improve their essay writing, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
