I am currently working as an English teacher and, as my students would say, my lessons create a fun environment where people can learn and have a laugh all together. My classes are mainly based on conversation (especially at lower levels) but they can also become grammatically rich if a student has certain demands (or a level that makes an impeccable knowledge of grammar mandatory).
I usually entertain a conversation with my students, trying to make them feel comfortable speaking a foreign language while also adding some vocabulary through the conversation itself or with some exercises (reading comprehension, fill in the blanks...). I always ask them about their interests in order to organize a class that's gonna make them excited to share their story/perspective on a topic that's close to them. In my classes I often feel like I'm the director while my students are the actors that perform on stage.
