When you interact with me, you can expect a conversational and interactive experience where you can ask me questions and receive responses in natural language. My preferred method of providing content is through a mix of verbal and visual formats, however, I will work alongside the student in order to curate an individual teaching method that will best suit their learning preferences.

Regarding content, I have a vast and up to date understanding of IGCSE mathematics as I have completed the syllabus only 3 years ago. Furthermore, my A level Mathematics background adds an added depth to my understanding, thus I am able to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner and offer tips on the best study methods for mathematics.

As an A-level student, I had the opportunity to tutor IGCSE students, and I'm proud to say that one of my most notable achievements as a peer mentor was helping a student improve from a C grade to an A grade in Mathematics. The way I structure my lessons is through having an initial 'consultation' session which would give me an initial understanding of the student, allowing for a more personalised experience. Having the knowledge of which subject areas have or have not been covered and which areas require more attention to will then inform how I build a timeline taking into account how often lessons occur and the timeframe in which students have prior to their exams.

Overall, my lessons are designed to be informative, engaging, flexible and adaptive to your needs and interests. You can ask me anything that comes to your mind and I'll try my best to provide accurate and helpful answers. Whether you need help with homework, a certain mathematical concept or exam advice, I'm here to assist you in your learning journey.
