I usually use a visualiser during online lessons so that you are seeing me explain something in pretty much the same way that I would if I was using a whiteboard in the classroom. The camera is not on me so you won't see me that much in a lesson. What you will see me doing though is writing on sheets of A3 paper so you can see how explanations develop.
One of my main interests in teaching is working with students with special educational needs (SpLD). I am qualified to assess students for dyslexia. My real enjoyment comes from helping those students achieve their goals and move on to the next phase of their education be that an apprenticeship, college or university.
I have taught for 20 years now and hope to be doing so for a few years yet. Before I was a teacher I ran a country programme for a nature conservation charity based in S E Asia. My office was in Phnom Penh in Cambodia. I was there for 2 years before moving to Malaysia and then finally to Thailand.
