The greater my understanding of my pupils’ motivations, the greater is my ability to motivate them.
Over the last twenty years I have taught people between the ages of four and ninety-six, both gifted and talented people and those with profound and multiple disabilities, sometimes in the same group.
My ability to teach is enhanced by the depth of my experience and the broadness of my ideas for topics. I am motivated by realisation and the empowerment learning new skills can command, not only in pupils but in myself as well. I react swiftly to circumstances with understanding and sympathetic engagement.
