Matt Castell

I am a friendly and enthusiastic person who has recently started online tutoring and would love the opportunity to work alongside you to help support your child in their academic journey.

I would like to create an environment where Primary and Secondary school children can feel inspired and supported to achieve to the best of their ability. I aim to foster a more relaxed relationship where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes to get the most out of their sessions. I have experience working in a primary school through the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and running and organising children's events at a local library. In both roles, I was widely praised for my ability to engage with children.

I plan to use a selection of activities and exam-style questions to support learning at different ages whilst engaging with students on a personal level to discover how best to motivate them to succeed. Through this I hope to help you or your child fulfil their full potential.

I have achieved Grade 9s in English Literature and Language, as well as a grade 9-8 In GCSE double science. I have A-Levels in English Literature, Biology and Chemistry and I am currently studying English Literature at a Russell Group university. I believe that my recent experience with these exams will better position me to support them.
