Hey! My name is Mats Kroneberg, a 22-year old Norwegian visual artist working from Edinbrugh. I recently graudated with a 1st Class Honours Bachelors degree in Physics, from Heriot-Watt. Leaving University, I feel a strong calling to pass on the knowledge I have accumulated over the years. I would like to do this in a new and exciting way- incorporating a focus on not just the syllabus content, but also mental health and creative expression. I have taught a lot of students mathematics, in Singapore and Norway especially. I have international experience, hence communication is always high in my lessons, since I know how important this is. My lessons will be creative and visual when possible, since i believe that incorporating expression in teaching can stimulate the students curiosity and willingness to learn. By keeping a levelled-head and a down-to-earth atmosphere I hope to identify where the student best needs help, and tailor the lesson accordingly. I plan to present different ways to think about the same problem, to see how the student reacts. The key is to open the mind of the student. I hope to achieve this through therapeutic and pedagogical lessons, aimed at exploring the pitfalls of what is preventing the students progression within the subject. Be this psychological or trivial, I have a strong faith that anyone can learn mathematics. Thus I am eager to help out students in need of assistance in Mathematics (or Physics) in Primary/Secondary school, GCSEs, A-Levels, IB, or undergraduate University courses.
