The way I teach entirely depends on you. We will take our first session to get to know each other, work out where you're at with English and where you want to be. We will also take some time to explore different learning techniques, and what works best for you, how much time you have outside of our sessions to work on your English, and if you would like to get homework or a practice schedule.

Depending on what you want to improve, ie. Reading and writing the lessons will vary quite a bit, for instance with a student with good knowledge in English language that is struggling to recognise sounds whilst having a conversation in English we would predominantly focus on listening exercises, for someone wanting to learn to write in English, listening exercises will only be partially helpful, reading tasks and writing exercises would need to accompany them.

For the more advance English learner, we will explore your interests. Together we will choose a book or exert suitable for your level, and on a topic you like or have a particular interest in. Comprehension questions are excellent for both improving your understanding of language, but also rapidly building your vocabulary and confidence.

Whatever level you are at now, and whatever your goal is my lessons will help you achieve your own personal language goals. Whether it is pronunciation, vocab, or even just confidence. I really enjoy language, and meeting new people, I hope that I will get to know you soon!
